St.Joseph College of Education was established on 17-11-2005 with the recongnition from National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and approval of State Govt. of Tamil Nadu. Formerly it was affiliated to Mononmaniam Sundaranar University,Tirunelveli ,and at present it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University Chennai. We are offering B.Ed course with an intake of 100 students.Our motive is to impart quality higher education to students to bring out their innate hidden talents and also to emphasize moral values to mould the future generation, introducing innovative Our college has its own architectural views, having required infrastructural facilities surrounded by beautiful gardens and greeneries around the campus and with Thengapattinam beach surround with coconut trees are of Excellent views.it is administered by Muthaiah Muthammal Education Trust.technology in education and promoting the level of education towards reseach
