Holy Cross Home Science College, Thoothukudi, established in 1975, is administered by the society of the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, Madurai Province. The college is affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. It was Re-accredited with 'B' grade by NAAC. In order to create an aesthetic sense among the women of Thoothukudi, the sisters dreamed of starting a technical institution. The campus which housed the Tamil Literature Society was purchased by the sisters in 1955 from the Tuticorin Diocesan Association represented by the Bishop of Tuticorin.

Excellent College with Safe Environment
This college has a great atmosphere for girls, and parents also feel safe. This college is changing and growing, with excellent administration. Plenty of opportunities were provided to students to encourage the participation in extracurricular and curriculum activities.Nice place.
A Secure College with Real-Life Skills Training
This Home Science College is run by Religious Nuns. Very safe place for young girls. Many rich parents send their daughters here. Students learn a lot of experience practically in cooking, gardening, catering and maintaining house.
A Strong Start for My Future
I graduated from this college a few years ago,and I m still amazed at how well it prepare me for the real world
